One Piece Trivia about Yonko

The Yonko are the four most notorious and most powerful pirate captains in the world, but are neither allies nor enemies of one another, preferring to remain autonomous under most circumstances. These four individually reside within the second half of the Grand Line (known as the "New World"), exerting impressive influence and control over dozens of other pirate crews and self-governing islands. In the decisive Battle of Marineford, Whitebeard, one of the Yonko, met his end towards the climax of the Whitebeard War. Blackbeard, his killer, subsequently usurped his position. Shanks, another member of the Yonko, arbitrated a ceasefire to end the aforementioned war.
 

• It is said that once Elizabello II has gathered enough strength to the point where his punch can knock down even a Yonko.

• Marshall D. Teach is the only known person to serve as both a Shichibukai and later a Yonko.

• All the Yonko's crews are named after their respective captain's epithet.

• All of the Eleven Supernovas are known to be involved with at least one Yonko:

• Monkey D. Luffy looks up to Shanks as a role model and personal hero, allied himself with the Whitebeard Pirates in the Battle of Marineford, and wishes to dethrone Kaido and Big Mom. He despises Blackbeard for causing the conflict that led to his brother Portgas D. Ace's death and attacking Baltigo, the home of his other brother Sabo.

• Roronoa Zoro, as a member of Luffy's crew, is part of the alliance to defeat Kaido, and most likely receives an amount of anger from the latter and Big Mom, due to Luffy's behavior on Fishman Island and Dressrosa. He also considers Blackbeard an enemy.

• Trafalgar Law made an alliance with the Straw Hat Pirates specifically to take down Kaido, though as a pretext toward his real motive of eliminating Donquixote Doflamingo, hoping to anger Kaido into killing Doflamingo. However, after the events on Dressrosa he now aims to take down Kaido with the rest of the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance. He might also be on Big Mom's radar, as when she asked Caesar why he wasn't able to complete his experiments despite her orders, he accuses Luffy and Law to have interfered.

• Eustass Kid invaded Big Mom's territory during the timeskip and later attacked two of her crew's ships. He formed an alliance with Scratchmen Apoo and Basil Hawkins in an attempt to dethrone Shanks. After unknown circumstances involving Kaido after his failed suicide attempt, Kid seemingly fought Kaido, but was badly defeated and imprisoned. Kid was later mentioned by Kaido when the Yonko jokingly told him to pass a message along to Luffy and Law that they should run for their lives after interfering with his plans.

• Killer is part of Kid's crew and took part in his actions against Big Mom, and in the Kid-On Air-Hawkins alliance. After Kid was defeated by Kaido and Apoo having joined Kaido's forces, his current affiliation is unknown.

• Scratchmen Apoo invaded Big Mom's territory during the timeskip, and later joined Kid's alliance in an attempt to dethrone Shanks, and was approached by Kaido after a failed suicide attempt. After unknown circumstances, Scratchmen Apoo became a subordinate of Kaido.

• Basil Hawkins joined Kid's alliance in an attempt to dethrone Shanks, and was approached by Kaido after a failed suicide attempt. After Kid's defeat and Apoo having joined Kaido's forces, his current affiliation is unknown.

• Jewelry Bonney was seen crying after Whitebeard's death, and was later captured by Blackbeard, though managed to escape custody of the Marines after being captured by Akainu.

• Capone Bege is currently a subordinate and son in-law of Big Mom after he invaded her territory. He married her daughter, Charlotte Chiffon.

• X Drake is currently a subordinate of Kaido.

• Urouge invaded Big Mom's territory during the timeskip and defeated one of her Four Sweet Commanders, angering her. He was later shown talking to Kaido about his motives for suicide.

• Out of all the total Yonko, Shanks is the only one to have human-like body size and proportions.

• Three of the Yonko have been shown to be habitual alcohol drinkers: Shanks, Kaido, and the late Edward Newgate.

• Kaido is the only one of the Yonko who has not been seen to have a personal flagship.

• Both Kaido and Linlin shared some similarities with one another

• Both dreamed of creating something through the power of science, through dealing with the scientistCaesar Clown (Kaido dreamed of creating a crew composed entirely of Zoan-type Devil Fruit users, via Caesar's Artificial Devil Fruits; Linlin dreamed of dining with her diverse family at eye-level, via Caesar's falsely promised Gigantification-drugs).
• Both never made a proper appearance til the second half of the series.

• Shanks is the only Yonko who doesn't have/had any underling from the Worst Generation or even being part of one.

Charlotte Family - Big Mom Pirates!

The Charlotte Family is the family of Charlotte Linlin of the Yonko. The family consists of Charlotte Linlin and her 84 children (39 daughters and 45 sons), as well as at least one deceased child. Big Mom has taken 43 husbands, and some of her children have children of their own. The family is the foundation of the Big Mom Pirates, and Linlin herself continues to marry off her children to powerful allies in order to bolster her crew's strength. Although they appear to be a family, Linlin shows little concern for her children, as she forces them to marry others without taking their personal choices into consideration. According to Pudding, Big Mom is willing to show leniency towards her children, as she will not harm her offspring for any recalcitrant behavior.

However, when Big Mom's anomalous eating disorder acts up, she has been shown unknowingly committing filicide. Furthermore, after Lola ran away from a political marriage, Linlin was furious and swore to make her pay and was content with having her die without a shred of care. She even discarded one of her husbands once he gave her two daughters. It is later revealed that Big Mom does not care about any of her husbands aside from getting children and considers them as outsiders since they are not related by blood. Some of her children hold this view about their fathers as well.



Some time in the past, Lola left the family to look for a husband she could marry on her own. The other children, on the other hand, apparently gave up on their dreams of finding a spouse of their own choice.[4] Lola's departure has nullified a very crucial political marriage that would have benefited the Big Mom Pirates' power, enough to have enabled them to defeat the other Yonko and for Linlin to become Pirate King. Because of this, Linlin labeled Lola a black sheep of the family and would have sent assassins after her if she could find her whereabouts.

While traveling from the New World into Paradise, Lola and her Rolling Pirates became prisoners on Gekko Moriah's massive ship, Thriller Bark, with their shadows placed inside zombies. Nami befriended Lola's zombie alias[9] while Lola assisted Luffy and the Straw Hats into helping bring down the Shichibukai member. Prior to departure, the Rolling Pirates captain gave Nami the Vivre Card of her mother in case they come across any trouble in the New World.

Some time between the Curly Hat Pirates' departure from Dressrosa and the arrival of the Big Mom Pirates on Zou, Big Mom and the patriarch of the Vinsmoke Family agreed to a political alliance. The alliance was to be sealed by a marriage between a member of each family: Sanji, the third son of the Vinsmoke Family, and Pudding, the 35th daughter of the Charlotte Family.

The Sun Pirates prepared to flee Big Mom should Jinbe's request to leave her crew not go well, and Praline got angry because she thought her husband Aladine was trying to leave her, but Aladine calmed her down and she agreed to go with him anywhere. Praline then told an inquisitive Jinbe that no one who tried to leave her mother has survived.

Three days before the wedding, Pudding encountered Luffy's Sanji retrieval team on Cacao Island and spoke with them. She agreed to help them rescue Sanji, as he had told her earlier that although he really wanted to marry her, he could not because he has to return to his friends.

Meanwhile, as Big Mom rampaged through Sweet City on Whole Cake Island due her craving for a certain sweet, her sixteenth son, Moscato, attempted to calm her down. With no rationality due to her cravings, Linlin uses her power to remove Moscato's lifespan, killing him, which shocked Moscato's siblings Mont-d'Or, Galette, and Opera The Charlotte matriarch only calmed down once Jinbe gave her what she desired. As Mont-d'Or and some others carried Moscato's body away, Big Mom seemingly agreed to let Jinbe leave her, but said that he would have to lose something in return as she pulled out a roulette wheel with pictures of body parts on it.

The next day, a newspaper article stated that Jinbe took back his words of leaving Big Mom's crew. Elsewhere on Whole Cake Island, Capone Bege held Pekoms at gunpoint as his wife, Chiffon, held their son, Capone Pez. Bege shot Pekoms off a cliff into shark infested water.
Meanwhile, Big Mom recommissioned Caesar Clown to work on a serum that would turn her family into giants. She gave him two weeks to complete it, or else Charlotte Perospero would turn him into candy and kill him

When Luffy's Sanji retrieval team (except Brook and Pedro) ventured into the Seducing Woods after arriving at Whole Cake Island, Charlotte Brûlée and her minions confronted them to hinder their rescue operation. During a scuffle, Brûlée captured Carrot and Chopper, separating the team. After regrouping, Luffy and Nami interrogated Pound, one of Big Mom's ex-husbands. As Pound was giving away information, Charlotte Cracker appeared and confronted the group. Cracker attempted to execute Pound, but Luffy stopped him, initiating a battle with him. Meanwhile, Brûlée and her minions tried to capture Nami, but the homies stopped when Nami took out the Vivre Card Lola gave to her. Brûlée attempted to capture Nami herself, but Pound rescued the latter. Nami then defeated Brûlée with Thunderbolt Tempo. After an initial struggle, Luffy managed to land a critical hit on Cracker using Kong Gun.

As Luffy supposedly shattered Cracker, the real Cracker appeared from what was revealed to be a Biscuit Soldier. The two continued battling for eleven hours, with Luffy eating Cracker's biscuit creations. Meanwhile, Brûlée chased Chopper and Carrot inside the Mirro-World. Finally, as Cracker rushed in for the kill, Luffy absorbed him into his body with a form known as Tankman, sending Cracker flying out of the Seducing Woods.The defeated Cracker flew into Sweet City and crashed into the Whole Cake Chateau, shocking Mont-d'Or, Galette, and Opera. The three siblings then marched out along with many other Big Mom Pirates to attack Luffy and Nami, engaging them in battle outside Sweet City.
Meanwhile, Big Mom went to meet the Vinsmoke Family for lunch, quelling an argument between Anana and Dolce and Dragée along the way. She and Purin then met the Vinsmokes, and Purin spoke to Sanji in private, revealing that she had met his crewmates. However, Sanji had given up on escaping the marriage and decided to marry her.

Outside Sweet City, the army led by the Charlotte Family overwhelmed Luffy and Nami. As they captured the two Straw Hats, they took away the vivre card Nami was carrying. The army then returned to Sweet City with the two Straw Hats in tow.

In the room of treasures, Charlotte Smoothie guarded the three poneglyphs in Big Mom's possession alongside Baron Tamago.

During a conversation with Sanji, Big Mom agreed to allow his friends to leave Whole Cake Island as long as Sanji complied with the wedding.

One Piece 848 Spoiler - Brook Live Concert

I am so hyped for the next one piece 848 chapter! who Lola supposed to married years ago? will she appear soon? And that collection of species trapped inside the book, when Luffy managed to break free, they could be his allies for good. Oda is still building each elements necessary for the one piece end game, one by one. and it awesome how none of can predict how things will goes down this arc. So everything is pretty much in place ready for the main event now.

Big Mom is going to be blasting off again when she opens that box, she seems to think here is some special treasure in there. Strange that Lola could have gotten it so wrong about her own mother, perhaps Big Mom was different before the marriage collapsed and it pushed her over the edge. Come on Sanji do you really expect Luffy and Co to not do something. Luffy is so going to free all of those animals and captives inside all of the books, he will end up with either a fully stocked zoo worth of animals or a new army. probably both. Looks like any possibility of an alliance between Luffy and Big Mom is over, not sure if Big Mom will fall yet though as Luffy himself says he's only here for Sanji. Easier to defeat a Yonkou when they are away from their seat of power, at this point Luffy is either going to have to grab Sanji and run for it or stand his ground and fight, whether that is an option will be decided by the Vinsmokes.

 In my opinion I'm pretty certain Lola was set to marry the king of giants or someone from the giant clan. Surely controlling the giants, an innately super strong race, would be enough power to think you'd become pirate king and why there is no giants in totland as they were humiliated by lola and now refuse to take part in anything regarding big mom. It seems more plausible than marriage to a super strong individual, eg doflamingo, as that wouldnt be enough extra power, if one person could give the strength to become pirate king, otherwise that individual would be a yonkou themselves already ( whether a fifth yonkou or replace one of them). (unless lola was going to marry the previous ope ope fruit user or lawand she was going to gain immortality but thats highly unlikely, impossible even, just wanted to thro that out there). tl;dr: Lola set to marry giant king/warrior/oars
